Question for the Civic 1.4l guys

How fast is your car? Did anyone ever reach the top speed. I tested it 2 times by now. First time 2 years ago and I reached 180kmh in 4the gear, but when shifting up to 5th it dropped to 160kmh. Today I tried again and I reached 200 in 4the and 185 when shifting up...

BTW: I was racing a Nissan 200SX. The guy was 2 fast for me, but hey, it was fun

BTW: say no to streetracing

I reached about 215... I don't regularly drive at topspeed... too fast/dangerous... only once in a while...
At a daily basis I drive at least once a day about 160
the advantage of living in the east of the Netherlands ... They never ever have controlled on speeding on the highway for about 2 years now... so it's no great risk...

I had mine in 180, then it was flat out in 4th. I have to add that this was not very smart, as the limit where I did it is 80 (highest limit in Norway is 100, but those roads are heavily "guarded". It was in the middle of the night, and I started in a tunnel, coming out onto a long stretch..hit 180 after a loooong while was alone though..nobody believes me

that intake mod of yours took you to 200 Goosse? Not bad!

I don't know if it was the intake or the exhaust that did it. Maybe I just had a lot of back wind . Don't know why it was. The previous time I did it, I didn't have the intake or exhaust and my car was a little higher of the ground and it topped out at 180kmp
