Tamiya 1988 Porsche Turbo

its a box stock build and the euro plates are from the parts bin. the plates will be replaced at a later time since it didn't turn out so well and started to crumble. The black basecoat is from a cheap "Win" brand spray laquer decanted for airbrush use and top coat is 2k clear. buffing took about 2 weeks > I enjoyed building this simple kit and wouldn't mind getting my hands on another one to build in another color.

My Dad had one of those when we were growing up. That brings back lots of memories and looks very spot on. Very well done!!!! That's what a good model does, takes you to a different place and time!!!!!

Excellent!

Re: Tamiya 1988 Porsche Turbo

thanks again guys! I love this kit, nice and simple and the fit is typical tamiya. just what you need to get you out of a modeling slump I'll take some outdoor pics this weekend.

here are some more pics of the car at the nationals.

the orange smx far back, the blue r33 skyline, the black porsche, red te27 corolla and blue pgc10 are all my builds.

some more pics taken by a good friend:
