Arrow IF you live in Maryland please check this out.

Whats Up ? I live in owings mills and I created a import crew when I was in high school but all the members went to college out of state when we graduated back in 2001 so I'm trying to get it started again. If you own a 4th gen Civic , 2nd gen. CRX , or a 2nd Gen. Integra ( it was just civic's/CRX's but my best friend owns a 2nd gen. integra and didn't want to be left out :-) anyone who's interested post a reply here I'll send you some info and let me know. We'll be meeting once a month and I'll fill you in on all the details when I have enough people interested. Thanks -Jason-

Hey where did you guys get your ZCs put in, or did you do it yourself? I want to do mine by myself but I don't have a garage which is going to make it difficult.

I plan to do my own, but right now there is barely enough room in the garage for the motor on the engine stand. My step-dad used to build VWs 20 years ago, and he has enough VW parts to build 10 cars prolly...We need to haul all that shit to a bug-out so I can make room for my Civic - lol

Ah memories...
My first car was a beetle I rebuilt and my grandfather's shop was the same way... we had like 4 engines laying around, and 6 empty bodies out behind the shop... 3 1969's, 2 1970's, and 1 1974 superbeetle.
I rebuilt the 74 superbeetle.

Due to the cost of the sohc vtec engines lately, I've been considering going with a ZC...
either way, I'm going to do the install myself.... as soon as I have an area to work at (don't even have a garage at the moment)

Maybe we could find a garage and then help each other do swaps...

Would be a cool idea, but at the moment, I work full time and go to college full time...
I'm probably going to take the summer off though (from college at least) and see about paving my drive way at least, and closing off an area to work on my car.

4thgenhatch.... my HB was a DX but nows a ZC so if you want we can get together and use my car to help you out plus I have the intsructions. I did my swap myself cause there's tooooo many SHADY shop's in MD they say they'll do this and that or say it'll be done at this date and it won't be done I know first hand so only me or someone I know helps me works on my car. What I'll do is pick a spot to meet at that everyone knows where it is and isn't too far for some to drive. The first meeting will be like a saturday during the day or night which ever is better also being thats it's a specific car club other members can help each other I'll post a meeting spot or you guys can recomend one I'm not originaly from MD so I only know where a few places are that you guys say you live in. I work at Russel VW as a tech. off of RT.40west it's like right after RT70 park and ride so if you guys ever need help or a lift to do something on let me know. I'm always willing to help out. I'll post some more info in a day or two. Thanks for the replies is cool that people are interested.

Ok, ZC help sounds good, you don't have a garage do you? I mean you don't really need one I guess but if my engine is sent to my house it has to sit on the street or something cuz it's too heavy to move around.

Also I live in Timonium, work in Towson, and go to school in Catonsville, so I know a lot of places around. We should find out who would come and then try and find an accessible place so certain people don't have to drive their ass off to get there.

Also I will get my VW friend to come and maybe he can hit you up for questions since non of us understand his car at all.
