It should just be plug and play. Plug it in and it should work. Shouldnt need to rewire it since its a 90-91 cluster in a 90 civic.

Yea that is what i thought, but it doesn't work. All my dash lights are all messed up and my blinkers dont work. I think it was a 90-91 CRX, don't know for sure.

Im at work right now, and i cant seem to find that good pic of a 90-91 cluster.

heres a 88-89
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1853881812

heres a pic of MyFirst4G's 90-91 cluster. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...threadid=59903

One difference is where the check engine and other lights are at. On 90-91 the seatbelt is bigger. You should be able to tell by the pics.

either... find someone that needs a 88 and has a 90-91 cluster, maybe someone on the board will read this and trade ya, or... sell yours on Ebay and buy a 90-91 from someone making sure its a 90-91.

I know you can make that work, just gotta make some modifications to it. Hopefully someone on here will know how to do it. I would try to sell it, but since it was sitting in the junk yard it got a little too much sun.

sweet good job man. It would be somewhat helpful if you could remember what wire goes where and write it down for all the people that accidently buy a wrong year guage cluster.

Alright, working on making the diagram. Give me a few days and I'll have it on the net. Working on making a new webpage for my car, that will be the first thing to go on it.
