What would cause a 1998 Buick Regal to stall when the Turn Signal is activated?

1998 Buick regal ignition swithc
Did replacing the switch fix the problem? Was it switch or cylinder?
Have the same problem as you but is intermittent. |

Re: 98 Regal stall when Turn signal activated
I have done at least 10 os these switches in the past year for this problem. It does fix it trust me.
If you want go to your fuse box find the ignition fuse with a meter across the fuse while the problem is occuring you will see less than 12 volts.

Thanks for the response. I had heard that there was also a problem with the ignition cylinder. You are specifiying the switch so will have it replaced. Thanks again

Re: flatrater please help
i have a 1998 buick regal. the car won't start, engine won,t turn over and all dash lights on, when turn signal moved fuel pump energizes. believe the security system is cutting the ignition. is the problem the ignition switch, or the ignition lock cylinder, or is it the same part?
