Best Rims?

What do you guys think are the best rims out there for civics? I personally run a set of volk te-37 16's wrapped in bridgestone potenza s-02 tires(love it), but I want to know what you people think are the best rim and tire setups for road racing?

see everyone has personal opinions on rims, there is no one rim that is god or anything. personally i hate motegi rims, there designs are ok, but they are heavier then hell and they weigh more then stock rims, to many people have them as well, therefore they are not my favorite, so decide on rims that u like and not what someone tells u to get.

as far as road racing goes which wheel is best depends on several factors...

in no particular order:

1. wheel size
2. wheel weight
3. how strong is it? and yes, wheels do wear out!
4. what is the offset?

for the car in my sig the ideal wheel is 15x7, as close to 13 pounds as possible, and 30 mm offset. i suppose it depends on the car, i couldn't tell you which wheel would be best for a Civic

Re: Best Rims?

Sorry I don't have any pics of my rims on my car. Don't have a digital camera.... But for some of the other questions, this was just a post to see what rims people like, not what I want to run. I love mine, 16x7 and 34 offset and they only weigh 11lbs. But I was just wondering what other people like to run on their car.

For a set of my volk te-37's it cost me 1360 at motorsport dynamics and thats the price without the tires..... tires cost me an extra 600. yes I spent a lot, for its all for the best.

Wow, those are some sweet wheels, but that's way out of my price range. My max is about $900 for a wheel and tire package (16x7 rotas w/ tires-13.5 pounds each).
