Getting TPMS put into wheel, are the valve stems, gaskets etc.. generic?

I have a 2011 kia soul. Dont see a specific forum for the car.

ANyways. I bought some aftermarket wheels and tires. Then I tracked down some TPMS sensors on ebay.

So now I have to get the sensors put into the wheel and programmed. A guy I know said they have to put new valve stems and gaskets etc.. onto the sensors when they install them.
So my question is, are the gaskets/seals and valve parts all just generic parts the tire shop will have or do I need to special order them for the specific car

I would get specific ones for your car. Why not use the ones you have in the wheels that came with the car? Then put plain old rubber ones in the old wheels. If you use them without TPMS all you will get is a light on the dash. TPMS is such a waste!
