I think the decision to discontinue the Integra and Prelude nameplates made complete sense, since the two cars really needed to be merged to make the very best sporty fwd coupe possible. I love my Prelude, but I definitely would have bought a model that slotted nicely between the Integra and Prelude (posessing both the 'Teg's light weight and slightly better balance, with the better solidity and refinement of the Prelude). I honestly think both cars designs and attributes were hampered just a bit because Honda didn't want them competing too directly with one another. Basically, although I hate to see the Prelude name go, this new car will be a winner for sure if they don't hamper it's modability (as they did with the new Civic) and please, PLEASE!, give us an R version within a year
