I was thinking of building a 'bug' when the GB was announced...
I'd already been looking for a kit on E-bay for a while, when i realized that i didn't want another revell beetle. So, off to my local Hobby Lobby with one of their online 40% off coupons. There i managed to score their last Tamiya Beetle kit for the low low price of only $18 (after disc).
On to the build.
I'm not sure where this is going just yet. Something interesting, but not so complicated that it never gets finished.
Kit parts along with some Revell NB and Boxster bits.
Some wheel choices. (l-r) revell new beetle, italeri 944, revell (i think) centerlines.
And the winner is...
I'm gonna try to get super low without just hacking the suspension up. We'll see...
