Home depot and Lowes are your friend. You can get everything you need there; tubing cutter, compression fittings, the works. You can also go to the parts store and borrow their flaring tool and splice in a section of brake/fuel line which is also available at the parts store. Flare is a little more reliable, but comression will do fine if you clean up the lines really well.
