Hemi is a pet name for Chryslers "hemisphyrical(sp)" Head. It is a system that uses a domed shaped piston and a head design similar to the top of a stop sign /--\ the intake and exaust being on eather side of the combustion chamber and the spark plug being quite high in the head. this design managed to squeeze the gasses closer to the spark plug for a better more efficient ignition.
Honda does use something similar to that design but so does every other manifacturer.
honda generaly uses a flat or slightly domed piston nothing to the extent of the HEMI.
