Hmm interesting.
I know iv seen the 7g here with an EJ chassis code.
And the coupes Iv seen from Japan all had an EG or EK code on them, even though they were all made in the states and exported to Japan. (im not sure where the RHD conversion took place, but I believe the cars are shipped partialy built to Japan were a RHD dash and steering is put in them).

So it figures that there are clearly differnces in the chassis codes not only between years and models, but also between regions.


and that list if pretty good. Possibly the best Iv seen out side of Honda. (but its not even close to being complete) *edit*I found an error in it. They list the EF6 as having a D15, when it is fact the JDM Si and uses the ZC engine, and the EF8 is the SiR CRX, and the EF9 is the SiR Civic*edit*
