When it happened the first time I took it to a dealership and to diagnose and repair it was $150. I seriously don't have the $$$ to fix this again. Anyone know where I should even START to look for these wires? Is this in any way a DIY project?

Hi, yes, I did get it resolved.....I got the OEM part from the dealer ($148), found an indie garage guy, and replaced in an hour's time. I didn't have the time to work on itself and worth the extra $40 spent.
Btw, those wires in particular are located inside the horn area, so if you don't have any holes surrounding it, it may be something else going on. Where's the chewed wire location, near the steering wheel or inside the engine bay or ???
The garage guy says the hardest part was removing the steering wheel, which took about 5 minutes extra.
