No, just painted them. I want the heat to radiate away from them. They are warmer than the air around them. If anything I'd coat them with Swain Tech's Black Body Emitting coating. I did that with my IC. Makes it more effective and also makes it stealthy.

I suspected it flowed OK. Yeah, it's not all that effective up top. Some folks have installed hood scoops, but front mount is still the way to go.
