I have noticed that the climate control unit on my 91 crx si is crap. I'm currently searching for a new one on ebay and the first one I purchased came with cracks on every mounting tab (the seller told me this thing was in "excellent" condition...yeah right!).

Anyway, since I'm still searching for a pristine replacement I thought I'd come here and ask you wise folks if you know of any aftermarket replacement units that won't crack apart after a few years of service. OR. Is there a modification that I can perform to make this thing more stable. OR Is there a different year/ make of honda climate control unit that can be used to replace this one?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
