I have a few other things to check out, fuckin fords with there computer scaning, chevs are waaaaaaay easier to diagnos, because even in the older ones they give an obd 2 type reading.... fords.... tell you nothing.... to bad the mustangs a ford hahaha.

I'll be honest I don't know that code 14 but PIP on Mustangs as far as I have dealt with has nothing to do with the exhuast. "PIP" is the signal your TFI distributor(hall sensor part) send to the ECU to tell it the timing of the motor. Then your ECU does some lovely calculations and sends the SAW signal back to your TFI Module(ignitor part) which will then fire your coil.
