You're looking for fiberglass cloth or matting and polyester resin and hardener. Its available at parts stores or Home Depot/Lowes. Its been a while since I bought any, but I think it should be about $25 a gallon for the resin/hardener and another $15-20 should buy enough cloth to use that much resin. For good looking stuff, get the woven cloth that looks like burlap; evenly woven. For stronger stuff thats not as pretty, get the randomly oriented cloth. It comes in a few thicknesses up to about 1/4" thick. That stuff is strong as an ox, but not easy to get a nice flat finish. For the ultimate strength, skip the poly resin and go to an auto body supply place and get epoxy. Similar working properties but much stronger when done.
