Exhaust tips are just for looking good. They are too small and too far down the line to make any real difference in power or sound. Cherry bombs are cheap. They don't flow very well, but they have a raspy loud sound that some people like. As a performance choice I wouldn't use them, but I do have a set on a low-power 305. I describe their sound as "white trash."
