If there is no spark and are no injector pulses, the pickup coil/reluctor assembly is not generating signal, or the signal is not being amplified by the module in the base of the distributor. Given that it's a new/reman distributor, I'd suspect the module before the pickup coil, but check both while you're in there. The resistance of the pickup coil should be between 500-1,500 ohms, with 850 ohms being perfect. Since the condition has apparently occurred with two distributors, you may want to check the connections at the distributor.
