1.8 roller rockers are still a good choice due to availability and not having to do any further valvetrain mods like stiffer springs, etc. What are your current exhaust mods other than CATBack? What about the downpipe and do you have a Hi-Flow CAT convertor? Headers will probably give you the edge but there is the cost consideration to include installation. On the throttle body checkout the ZZP Stage 2 with the modified MAF sensor instead of the Stage 1. You can only do so much with bolt-on mods without having to go into the engine.

Like Bob says, bolt ons only go so far, the engine output is a function of air in and out, stock heads are a big limiting factor and the rocker arm issue may not realize the anticipated gains, mid range torque is what wins acceleration trials and to be effective cam timing should be changed or some head work done to match the bolt on throttle body and exhaust mods, some of these changes only gain hp at the higher rpm ranges where the engine spends the least amount of time operating especially in a 1/4 mile race.
