ok. I completely baffled. Anyone around ever replaced one of these on a Dodge Avenger and has been through this before or knows it well? Currently, when I start it the pump makes a grinding noise. I know there is a very small leak coming from somewhere around the pump, but I'm not sure where. There are three things connected to the pump, the two fluid lines, and where the electical wire attaches on the top. The pump came with 5 gaskets, yet I can only find a spot for 4 of them. Anyone know where the 5 gaskets go? My guess is my foaming/overflowing issue deals with having this small leak that is sucking the air in as mentioned above. I just can't figure out how to stop the leak. It maybe getting towed somewhere to be looked at. I thought this would've been an easy one. It does help that the pump is actually higher than the reservoir, so the fluid travels up.
