well since you are in austrailia, you should be having some rather nice weather right now, right? so why not paint outside on a calm day, then plop the body down into a big tupperware container and let it dry in that? or you could build yourself a spray booth with a clear window and two holes to put your hands through. use some latex sheet with a small hole punched in it to cover the "hand holes" to keep dust from entering through there. and have the ends open with some old t-shirts with a fresh application of hair spray to keep dust from entering while having excellent ventillation.

haha, I say "JUST" it takes time and a little enginuity to get a good booth, but it's worth it if you build alot of models.
