The cobalt is not a platform that was created for modding, so my suggestion is to seriously beef up the bottom end of that engine and then hit it with about a 50-hp shot of nitrous. Other than that I might suggest one or two more psi from the blower, but go gently on it. Its not an engine that was over-developed for strength or anything.

300 hp is probably not something that you want to plan on with an ecotec if you want an engine to last more than 40k. Big booms tend to happen at that level. Shoot for a nice even 250, but make sure your ignition curve, fuel curve, and fuel pump are in perfect condition when you tune the ECM.
