i work full time and only have mostly cheap mods on my car. i wouldn't put anything on your credit card unless you can cut a check to pay it off when the next statement comes in. this is just common sense and good practice so you don't get in over your head.

i've had many friends who put thousands of $$$ worth of car stuff on their cards just to be payin' for the shit over the next five years. is it really worth it??? we always had credit card companies on campus when i was in school and they'd always push and push, giving away free stuff...just don't get caught up in it all.

since you know the cost of what you want, just start saving for it and in a couple years, you'll have enough to buy it.
