No worries, the anti-theft only kills the radio internally, GM's brilliant idea to deter someone ripping them out of the dash. They forgot that it not too hard to get the code to re-activate it, so it was a dumb idea anyway, lol.

You'll be fine, ya just want to check the back of your original radio, and it shows the connections for the factory plugs, such as LF speaker +, RR speaker+, etc, etc, makes it a lot easier to tap new unit to exist wiring if ya can't find a adapter harness.
