I'm sorry but I would not prefer speed over torque. I would rather be able to go further offroad or tow more than a souped up anything. From what I understand more horsepower means less torque which means less ability to do what I want and more ability to just sit there and spin. If I do any mods to my vehicle it would be to raise it up maybe add a different motor to get more pulling power (evenr though of going diesel) but then I came back to reality. College student, loans out my butt, used Blazer that needs constant upkeep, why not just keep what I got (except for the wheels already changed them to Bridgestone duller 3s) and save the rest of my money for an eventual pickup truck to do my hauling and maybe keep the blazer for family if I ever get family.

Without torque, there is no speed. (unless you're driving downhill)
