see heres where my problem is with all of this. the ultimate civic on a budget of 20,000 has to be aimed more at one thing then another because frankly skimping on anything in any catagory is gonna screw you. if you skimp on the motor you'll get dogged at the track, if you skimp on the suspension you'll get handed at the auto x, if you skimp on the ice your done at the car show.
frankly we all know that the civic is dogged the hardest by every other car owner because of its all show and no go following. im not saying that necessarily a bad thing, but to me i would wanna break the mold and have a civic that runs with vette's and supra's and the likes of them. problem is any power adders or suspension changes or body mods are gonna put you in a different class at an auto x or a car show. then you have to dish out more money for that and this then that then this. see what im saying its a never ending circle of having to add shit to be competative in another sector that screws you in this sector so you have to spend money to compete bla bla bla bla bla. if you throw a 100 shot on this thing sure it will have show appeal and leave you with money for ice and what not but its not gonna be all you can be at the track, it wont help at an auto x, and when the bottle runs out your outa commision on the street till you fill up

badass to me would be a consistent street screamer that can rip anythinga new asshole while not looking insane but still having some appeal to it.
ultimate would be the best of everything in every department and me and you both know its gonna take double if not triple to get it there.
i think there needs to be more of an understanding on the specific goals of this car. we all preached about goals and when this came around we forget them in the hype. we need to decide which road we are gonna take before we go any further, will it be more of a show car, or a cone chaser? or a straightline demon? or a street monster?
