No, I can never get bare metal foil to get texture. so I use it only where I need very shiny and a thin coat. Plus it is expensive. The foil is ordinary house hold cooking foil. Takes shape very well and it is more sturdy than the bmf.
I will be using this foil to cover the under tray and the cowling as well. Hope I wont mess it up.
I hate trying new things in this kind of projects
