Check control relay circuit, limit switch, and motor for function

Motor
Should turn clockwise (viewed from gear side) with batter power on terminals (+) 2 and (-) 1. Motor should turn counterclockwise with polarity reversed.
Replace motor if not functioning as specified.

Relay circuit
Disconnect the connector from the relay and inspect the connector on the wire harness side with the flat side down facing the connections. Connections are numbered 123 across the top from left to right and numbered 45678 on the bottom from left to right.

Check the following connections (conditions):
4-5 Always continuity
6-ground No continuity #1 limit switch OFF (sliding roof tilted up or open 200 mm)
6-ground Continuity (all other positions of sliding roof)
7-ground No continuity #2 limit switch OFF (sliding roof closed)
7-ground Continuity #2 limit switch ON (sliding roof open)
2-ground No Voltage (Ignition switch LOCK or ACC except for 43 seconds after ignition switch is turned from ON to OFF)
2-ground +12 V (Ignition switch ON)

Limit switch
#1 Limit switch is on longer wires - #2 Limit switch is on short wires

Switches tested at connector. Connections are numbered flat side down 54321 left to right.
Continuity between connections 3-5 with #1 switch pushed in
Continuity between connections 3-4 with #2 switch pushed in
Replace switches if not as specified.
