Hi cookie2 I was reading your messages and you have a lot information about jeeps ,please I need to know why my 1996 jeep grand cherokee laredo is having problems with shifting in reverse, when is in 2 wheel drive normal shifting , I can't put in reverse and is grinding noise when I try to put in reverse , but work fine when I put put in part time (means in 4 wheel drive) in this time I can put and reverse and works ok , any ideas about this problem ,? can be the transfer case ? or need some adjusment in the links ? I just got this jeep and come with this problem since they replaced a new transmission rebuilt, I am not sure what work they did in this truck I will apreciate it if you give some ideas thanks dornier34
