I could type for ages probably, so i'll try to summarize.

-Unless your F/I, Car prefers the stock ACDELCO Iridium Plugs.
-Cutting out Cat and Res is useless on the Stock Downpipe. It's double walled, so it's a restrictive 1.9".... Get a ZZP 2.5" downpipe, with no cat if you want (Cheaper, but no performance difference).
-Front manifold is is pretty restrictive, a Powerlog (https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_...=208&catid=110) frees up some power, especially with a Custom Tune.
-a True Cold air intake (Such as a Wizaird or Thrasher) a lil better than a short ram (Exhuast crossover heats up the air on that side of the engine bay signifigantly)


You need to join NAIOA.com, Is where I learned what i have, and We have a few Turbo Impalas, a few with a top swap, and a few that are aiming for low 13's !!!!!

Hey you seem to know a whole lot about impalas. any upgrade options for more power? the cheaper the better...

here is what i have done so far,

i had the transmission fully rebuilt, shift kit, highest grade clutch plates, shearing kit, and a 2350 stall convertor. cost me 1500. that was taking it out and installing the transmission myself. big money saver.

i have played with the exhaust a bit as you know, cut out the cat convertor, and took off the muffler and the restrictive "U" bend right before it and put on a glass pack, so it is basicly straight piped other than the resonator. witch i may be taking out soon as well.

i have installed a short ram air intake, that has made a pretty decent difference.

high grade plugs and wires, of course.

thats about it off the top of my head, lemme know if you can think of anything else, i would appreciate it.
