misfire in cylinder 3

i changed the spark plugs then the check engine light came on 2 days later. so i took the wires off and tightened it a little more. the light went off then 4 days later the light came on again.both times auto zone said it was a misfire in cylinder 3. so i changed the wires. then 4 days later the light came on again. any suggestions. the light never was on till i changed the plugs

Pull that plug and see what it looks like, I assume you can feel this msifire?

ya it doesn't look like it been used. i puleed another one and it was a little greasy

What brand and part number of spark plugs did you install?

bosch platinum plus# 4041. i just bought a new one and replaced it but the light is still on

That just might be the problem, GM's don't like Bosch plugs. The taper seat, reach and heat range do not match up correctly. Get the AC Delco plugs that the catalog calls for and hold a Bosch and a Delco side by side and compare, you'll see what I'm talking about.

That's great advise,GM's don't like Bosch,use AC DELCO when it comes to ignition parts including wires.
