Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone could help me find any information on how to fix a problem I am having. I am having the problem described by TSB 8321 which states: SOME VEHICLES, 3.8L ENGINE, MAY EXHIBIT A DRONE (AUDIBLE NOISE) AND A TACTILE VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL (HIGHER FREQUENCY BUZZ) AT 1350-1400 RPM (40-45 MPH) UNDER A LIGHT LOAD WITH THE TORQUE CONVERTER LOCKED IN 3RD OR O/D. *TT

There is some information here: http://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/tsb.php/m-FORD/d-WINDSTAR/y-1999/t-8321

I am looking to see if anyone else has had this problem and how they have gone about fixing it, or if anyone has more information on this tsb and what is fords method of dealing with this tsb

Thanks

I'm not familiar with that problem. But I would think any Ford service center would be happy to print out the service requirement for you. ??

Is that Bellingham, Washington?

Yeah, Bellingham Washington

I try to avoid the dealers as much as possible lol, I will likely just change the torque converter myself and see if that helps.

That's a lot of avoidance!

I like to go in occassionally to see if can cause 'em a bit of grief!
