It doesnt really matter what the prize is either, its just a chance to show off our hard work + skills:)

Aiight, Since 13 year olds can enter now, Im in! So I guess im number 6? When will the due date be? I think it should be about 3 or 4 months, but thats me. It will give everyone a chance to finish and do their best, theres nothing worse than rushing a model right? But thats on my 2 cents.

I'd set it the deadline for entries to be June or July 31. I still have to finish my F-150, then I guess I'll start my integra for this contest.

I guess I am....

Im not in, not enough time.

IT is April 15th now.... uve made modles in 24 hours.. ithink u can do it in 2 months..

I'm not in it for the prizes, I'm in it for the recognition. I want people to actually remember me when they see the Tamiya symbol and think "yeah, that's the guy who built the Silvia" ...instead of ..." yeah ,that's the guy... uhh, who the hell is he???"

I'm gonna be in the under-18 contest but I probably won't win because the next few kits I'm gonna be building are just to build up skill, preparing for Tamiya/con 2004, remember?

If I stand a chance in the contest with a test-mule kit, I'll bea really happy :D

yea, but, im tlaking about, the best looking model any one has seen, more than likely it will be rice, and it may end up being an ITR with a 3 cylindar turbo manifold;)

I did, he doesn't have it filled in.
And besides Joey, if that's the case, even I can change my birth year to show me as being 18.

Well, I looked at the first page a couple of days ago, when this thread was opened and saw the request and the replies about the AF Modeler of the Year contest, and thought, oh well.

But this thing kept on going, although I ignored it and now it's 8 pages :eek: -> The sign for me to look again and "THEY ORGANISED A CONTEST!!"

You know what, I can even enter. Age= 35

so 3x5=15 right?? :lol2:
