What year is your LS and which engine does it have? I checked the factory service manual for both the 2002 and the 2004 model years and neither list a P1366 diagnostic code. Might it have been a P1336?

autozone entered wrong code. p1336 is actual code. car is 2000 ls 3.9 .also while driving today the car stallled and did not throw a code.then probably five minutes later it shut off at a light still no cel. Cel has not come back on since it cycled off during first incident.car was misfiring bad for about a month before i had time to change valve cover gaskets, which were done last week. Could a crank sensor go bad without throwing a trouble code. thanks for any help. I forgot this part , but about a month ago had service station scan pcm and the mechanic said one of the trouble codes if i remember correctly said pcm tuned off a sensor because of mutiple misfiring .At that time it was pretty bad. would have to keep rpm up so as not to stall. SORRY ABOUT EDITS but not at computer too much.

From the factory service manual, P1336 - CKP and or CMP Input Signal to PCM Concerns. Possible causes are listed as:
Damaged PCM
Damaged CKP sensor
Damaged CMP sensor
Base Engine
Harness Concerns
Issues with the CKP or CMP could certainly cause misfires. Since the car has stalled for you now too, I'd lean more towards the CKP (Crankshaft Position Sensor). You might start by carefully inspecting the wiring for the CKP.

thanks shorod for the help. Finally was able to take a look at the car today and turns out dirty connection to ckp. But now no codes still stalls so i changed fuel filter and put fuel pressure guage at rail. The idled fine at 32 psi, after about a minute pressure went to a little above 34psi. At that point it started to sputter, soon after stalled and guage jumped to 40psi. Thats where it stayed 40psi after it stalled. No cel or trouble codes.

The fuel pressure spec is 30-65psi and is controlled by modulating the fuel pump voltage based on readings from the Fuel Pressure Sensor since this is a returnless system. The readings you are getting are within specification, but I wonder if the increasing fuel pressure is due to a lean condition elsewhere which could be a leak in the intake air tubing or possibly a dirty MAF sensor. Do you have a performance reusable air filter installed by chance? If so you might start by cleaning the MAF sensor using MAF sensor cleaner. If you don't have a performance filter you should check your filter and the associated intake air tubing to make sure the filter is not plugged and that the tubing is in good shape.

Wile i had pressure guage on fuel rail, i reved engine a few times and pressure dropped to 18psi and would not recover. It did not stall, almost though.Turned motor off and started an pressure at 42psi Cleaned maf but still thr same. As car idles pressure starts at 32psi gradually increases to 42. I replaced air filter 6 months ago with standard filter ,i think it was prolator. Still no cel. Sunday will check injector pressure sensor vaccume line.

You might look through some of the other threads on this forum related to the jet pump fuel pump. Seems that's been a common issue lately. You can use the "Search this forum" feature from the LS forum main page.

replaced fuel pump and filter, still not right. Dropped it off at ford, and they said maf sensor.Still stalling and it finally threw a code.
