I am trying to find a turbo that is the most compatible with a 97' saturn SC1 with a 1.9L SOHC 4 cyl engine. It needs to have the ability to spool fairly quickly and deliver about 8 pounds of boost constantly without falling apart the first couple weeks. Any suggestions or advice are welcome.

I'm not knocking AF in any way, but I think you'd learn alot more about this if you go to www.sixthsphere.com .
First, read, read more, and then read some more. They do not take kindly to redundant noob questions (i.e. How can I make my Saturn faster?) so consider yourself warned. However, there is an abundant amount of info on that site regarding turbocharged Saturns.
I can tell you that the general consensus is that building a reliable, turbocharged daily driven Saturn is fairly difficult. There isn't much of a streamlined way to do it w/o alot of cash because of the lack of aftermarket support - even more so with a SOHC engine.
I don't want to discourage you, my intent is simply to inform you of what you're up against.

Thanks for the info. I will check out the site you listed and do some reading to consider my options. Hopefully this will give me some ideas to go off of.
