I have an 06 Impala LT with remote start. Is it possible to change the programming of the car to turn on the heated seat when I use the remote start? Is it hard wired or activated through the computer??
Nice warm car but ICE COLD leather seats kind of defeats the purpose.

Not sure if you can do that with the early GM remote starters but I can with my aftermarket ones I sell.

Depends on the car. On some like a loaded Silverado with leather and heated seats the interface I use will turn the seats on low if the engine temp is below 32 degrees. On a 2010 F-150 I use the 5th channel output on my remote start and program it to "latched output" to turn the seats on. The difference on this is the seats heat up but the lights on the switch in the dash don't show them on because I bypass the switch.
