coolant fans

im back at it with these fans in my 03 impala for some reason my fans arent coming on checked fuses relays the t-stat is bad checked temp-sense fans come on low speed when a/c is on but thats it...sombody said BCM but if thats bad wouldnt i have other electrical problems :runaround:driving me crazy

im back at it with these fans in my 03 impala for some reason my fans arent coming on checked fuses relays the t-stat is bad checked temp-sense fans come on low speed when a/c is on but thats it...sombody said BCM but if thats bad wouldnt i have other electrical problems :runaround:driving me crazy

if the thermostat is stuck open the fans will only work when the ac is on......

installing the correct thermostat with the proper seal gasket is needed as if not done correctly to coolant can bypass the thermostat..

before replacing always test this in boiling water with a thermometer see when it opens and closes...compare with the one you took out..then you will know what is good bad ...NEW DOES NOT MEAN GOOD!

Whats the outside temp in FL?
Did your car over heat?
Put a throw rug in front of grill, and turn Air-cond on Max,
the fans will only turn on at a certain temp.

jcat im going too replace the thermostat and see if that helps thanks
