It was not a matter of waiting for a ECC fault to reset, it turns out that I have a faulty Air blend actuator. I see that it is located behind the glove compartment and I have ordered a replacement. Any tips for me before I try to get my big hands in there to replace it? Perhaps someone has done this job before? Thanks.

For a 1995 Buick Lesabre, I used/replaced a AC/Delco Part # 15-71923 Air Blend Actuator. As HotZ said in another post, changing out the part required that one be a bit of a contortionist. Small hands would be good also. Tie fishing line to your 7/32 socket and the rear screw so that you do not lose them. I almost lost the rear screw on the removal of the part. However all worked out and the climate control works as good as new. Thanks to HotZ28.
