Isn't that shelby daytona featured on the MFH website?

Yes,exactly thats the one Daytona Cobra:

http://www.modelfactoryhiro.com/shop/model/car/cus-RU-ex.html

There is also a tread here:

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=935683&highlight=Daytona+Cobra

At the right side of the Cobra there is my BMW 635 CSi 24h Spa winner from 1984.

I will poste this project here at AF shortly when i made good pics.:naughty:

Thanks for the comments guys, Kitsets and modelling building used to be my passion but it has taken a sideline over the last couple of years as I have been collecting diecast. Picture below is slightly off topic but shows built models on the 3rd shelf up from the bottom.

These are some of them. My workshop is still a work in progress. I need to sheetrock still and add better lighting. There are more kits on the floor under the paint and all my resins are still in packing boxes until I get the space finished out.

Thanks, the box under the A4 is the M3, lol. Great kits if not a little bare boned. Trust me, i wish I could get more of these. Quikskins did great subjects at a reasonable price.

Hey ashman, are those display cabinets dust proof?

Umm, Kind of.... Its a hell of alot better than what I had them on before (Dryer)
Ive had them for a year now & it probly needs a clean again, theres a fine layer of dust on the shelfs, nothing much, certainly not a years worth of dust. But that could be due to the fact that i sometimes leave the doors open overnight, or that the dryer is also in the room. I guess they would be pretty dust proof, theres hardly any gaps or openings...
I find displaying the uncompleted models inspires me to continue building them... well kind of.. they are still sitting in the cabinet....

Nice collection viper. You scored the rally 510, good find. Don't worry about no built ones, as it seems everyone has that problem sometime in their life with only new ones being bought.

How do you guys shoot completed models out so quickly??? I have 5 left to do cuz it took me 2 months to finish my r33 skyline. You'd think with all the scratchbuilding and care you guys take, it'd take longer....

Hi guys this is my little pile (tiny compared to some of you lol ).
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b342/91p10nizmo/kits.jpg

The top two boxes (NSR and Primera) are spare parts and the enzo under that is just instruction booklets.
I just received the Gulf GTO last week, and the carrera gt is the one with clear parts.

No pics but I have about 1000 unbuilt models. Some of the kits have 3 to 5 models in one box(these are the AMT sets) but most are individual kits from many different makers.I have duplicates of many of the kits because I ran across deals too good to pass up(like four Tamiya Xanavi R34 JGTC kits with photoetch for $11 each-normally a $41 kit at retail).
The photos of some those collections floor me.All those S27 and MFH kits in one place!I think of the money layout for them and just shake my head at the total. And that German collection-WOW!Now I know where all the old AMT annuals from the 50s and 60s went.
We're all defacto kit collectors even with our intent to build our entire inventories.I see my collection as insurance that I'll live to 400 years old so I can complete them all.So far,so good!

I've been swamped with work lately, but finally got around to unpacking my latest purchase, which was sent by surface mail.
Car kits are...
Aoshima
Mazda AZ-1
Countach LP400
Climax
275GTB Competizione Speciale s/n6885
Fujimi
Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari
Countach LP500S Walter Wolf
Q-Model
250TR '59
SuperWorks
Maserati 450S Zagato
Tamiya
Porsche 935 Turbo
Lotus Mk.III

BT50

Now I can start my 695 & Scuderia double build.

is that a Costin/Zagato 450s?
Do you also have the Profil24 one for comparison (not that it's easy getting a SuperWorks kit these days...)?

I don't have Profil24's 450S kit to compare, and I don't see any point of doing that because SuperWorks kit looks and feels like a "garage kit," and
all of the resin parts require extensive cleaning. The body is not exactly symmetric, the surface is rough and edges are chipped. But this is actually
my second kit, so I knew exactly what I was getting. The kit includes aluminum rims, PE wire spokes and details, as well as rubber tires, so it's
far better than other garage kits. You can see the level of details in the photos below.

I think the kit belongs to "test your skills by taking on a poor kit" category. :)

Thanks for the pics anyway.
I have a strange obsession with Zagato; probably because they're not all conventionally pretty. In fact, a lot of them are probably best described as outright ugly but nonetheless, they are all cool.

Hi People!

I had an idea in other modelling forum.
Each one of us show to everyone our models to be made.

Instead of building the last few years I've just been amassing! This is just what I have out of the storage, the second picture is all of the boxes I filled with models before moving from Florida.

Yes, these are all filled with models!!!

Hi guys.
It's been a while since I last posted anything.
I looked into this thread and I liked it a lot.
It lets us to know one another better through our models.
You can see what others like.

I just hope this thread is still alive.

Anyway this is my veeery modest collection.
(There are two models which is not on the pictures. They are:
Ben Hobby - Leyton House March F1 car
- Revell Porshe 911 cabrio - I am building it now)

This is my "ToDo" pile. The three 1989 Nissan and the Hartge (all completed) should be replaced with S14, S15, KPGC10 ad LFA that are actually being shipped. You can guess there´s a "Nissan history" project and some FNF project too :smooch:

http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6158/6216598780_815b1d8f74_b.jpg

Now my question is about those who had 5x "Golf V5", or 6x "Ford Escort", maybe 7x sets of equal wheels, and not talking about everybodies "give me 2 of each please" (and I will keep that german collector and modeller out of discussion). What were you guys thinking when you bought like that? Is it for a group build? Or just a "if a mess up a part I have a backup"? I mean, everyone with their own and that´s great, but I never bought two SIMILAR models without finishing one (actually I never bought two equal models:loser:).
