Mystery Part

I was working around the ABS pump on my 2003 3.8L Impala and broke this piece off of the wire harness leading into the ABS pump. The tip is hollow and looks like you can barly stick a needle into it. Does anybody know what the part is and what is it purpose? Thanks!!

It looks like a some sort of breather cap
