To max or who ever,I recently had the solined change in my 2005 impala again for the second time in 2 years so i assume to do that they had to let the frame down ,remove calipers and so on,also my iss shaft was loose with lots of steering play but they forgot to tighten the 11mm bolt undet the dash that I fixed,up on that issue I still had a little thump when turning left so i decided to jack up the drivers side and discovered they also for got to tighten up the nut on the ball joint,i got one full turn on the nut and now the car is solid again with no banging or thumping, however what i want to know is are you supposed to tighten the ball joint nut while the car is on the ground with all the weight on the front end or is is tight enough when the car is jacked up with weight off her?,thanks,Mike, corner brook nl canada

so your vehicle had loose fasteners...how do you go from a steering shaft to ball joints ???? this is obviously done to put the hurt on you...
you better watch out for other surprises..

you better watch out for other surprises..for starters when they did the soliniod in the tranny they had to let the frame down which included removing the tie-rods,and letting go the ball joints, also the iss shaft and wheel bearings where all done in the same day, xmas eve.they never tightned the bolts on the shaft when it was put back in or tighten the ball joint nut, thats shitty work, they will see me again at the dealer on monday coming
