Heat blower motor

I see a few posts about these not working.

seems in the colder months my blower wont turn on, or wont run very strong. if i smack the middle of the dash it will kick on, but a bump in the road will knock it back off... so i don't think its anything more than loose wires.

i'm going to start taking things apart soon. where are all of the connection points associated with the blower motor and how do i get to them..

TIA

There should be a blower relay resisitor on the blower case under the r/s of the dash.

Is this the right guy?
i had to prepay and order it for $80 at advanced auto, they had no picture in their refrence. aparently there are 2 kinds and they say it is for an automatic air...does that mean i can install an automatic climate interface? if so, what kind of car can i take it out of?

forgot to mention this is a 2004 3.4

TIA

That's it. The auto HVAC system requires more than that, the head, various sensors, harness, programmer.

My new BMR went out 2 days ago. Is there something else that could be causing it to fail. It gets REALLY hot on the heat sink.
I have to unplug it to turn the fan off, even when the car is off. and the fan only runs 1 speed, probably medium.

any ideas?
