97 SC2 Sunroof binding

The Sunroof in my 97 SC2 at one point became stuck open. We managed to get it closed but now it seems to struggle when opening and closing. It kind of stutters on and off. It seems something is binding.
Any idea how to fix this problems? Is it just lubing maintenance I need to perform or something more serious?

I have a 97 SC2 and having the exact same problem.

I have a 97 Saturn in the family and the sunroof on it just stopped closing today. Anyone have a link to a page that will remedy this problem? bluetiebandit posted something but I don't know what they are in reference to nor how to access them??? A direct link would be optimal. Thanks!

Here's the answer to the sunroof binding, I think. I just bought a 97 SC2 and the roof wouldn't close right and would bind but the motor seemed to work. The problem with mine is the track and It would require a module to fix it.
