Hi. Recently my front passenger-side headlight went out, changed it but was still out. Checked ground connection, no problem. Voltage at fuse is low, now I am experiencing flickering in the drivers -side headlamp, any ideas? Thanks.

I can tell you on my 2000 windstar that there is a wiring harness bundle that is close to the top rail just in front of the battery. I'd think yours would be the same. Anyway, that harness travels around and thru some metal components that likely over the years have managed to gradually wear the insulation causing sketchy symptoms. I'd carefully look in that area and I'd bet you'll find a couple of wires that have been rubbed. If so, get some quality (not dollar store) electrical tape and repair. I found 3 such wires this summer. Once you find them the repair is easy. Before you start ripping things apart though, look at how the wires sit undisturbed. Of course, the wires closest or touching the body are the first to inspect.
Good luck!

Do you have problems with both low beam and high beam? If so, then it's the whole harness that you should repair. If not, it's a problem with one of these wire. Plus the wire of the left side, cause it flickers.
