I want to replace the fuel filter on our 2003 Windstar.
I purchased a new filter - Motorcraft.
I notice the fuel lines do not appear to use the clip like some other Fords. It looks like one just pushes the buttons on either side in and this will release it the fuel line.
Does this sound correct?
The new filter did not come with clips so it would seem that this is the method.

Yes it is exactly that, you have to push the clips on either side to unlock the gas line from the filter. Pay attention for not breaking the clips, do not use a screwdriver to unlock them.
