new LIM gasket set, coolant, themostat, oil r2 too
no heat
heat comes threw just a little warmer than ambient temp
but
both heater core hoses are hot
used both bleeder screw to bleed system
car doesnt over heat
temp goes to the half way point and holds there
dont hear any air in the system
I'm using prestone coolant
system was flushed also
any Ideas

Sometimes you need to hold the idle up around 2k rpm with the cap off for a couple of minutes. Sometimes revving the engine will also help. I just had an alero that took me about 20 minutes of messing around to finally get heat after replacing the t-stat.

tried to bleed it again , now I have heat on the right side but not the left
also the heat smells like exhaust
I've searched and found some people have had problems with actuators on the dual climate control systems. does anybody have a write up to fix or replace them

i had the same problem with my 05 impala ls bought a flush kit for 7 dollars and flushed just the heater core with the garden hose draining in a 20 litre pail once filled i disconnected the hose and put the caps on started the car put the switch on full inside the car within minutes i had heat.

found out it was only heat on the passenger side , swapped door actuator for the drivers side and it worked
