Fast and The Furious Eclipse

I was wondering if any1 here had engine specs, audio, body kit info, etc. about that car. I know that www.suprastore.com can make the same exact Supra as shown in the movie for about $80,000 and was wondering if any1 knows a site like that for the Eclipse?

P.S. If you know a site like the one for the Supra except for any of the other cars preferably the Eclipse, RX-7, or the charger I would appreciate it thanks.

Are you gonna paint it the same color as the one in the movie?

No I just wanted to know the body kit name, engine mods, interior mods, etc.

Please dont copy F&F too closely; someone here in the UK has a Supra with the exact same kit on as that movie - which was cool when it was silver, but now he's painted it Orange to match the film it just looks tacky and way too "oh, where have I seen that before ?"


Don't get me wrong, I love that style of bodykit etc, but it's all about being different, so why copy something that's been done before ? :devil:

Yeah Im not going the whole neon green type color with decals and the black hood. I was thinking a dark-medium blue and lightning bolts down the side and some on the hood. Have some blue neons underneath. I just loved the sound of the turbos kickin' in on that eclipse and that exhaust but I dunno if that was that Eclipse making those gorgeous screams.:D

All the cars in the film used their own engine notes, except the Eclipse. It had to borrow the noises from a Honda Integra "Type R" to make it sound the part !

You can't drive yet, but you plan on getting a MkIV Supra TT? I find that very unlikly. If you want the turbo sound, get a turbo Eclipse.

Just because I have no license yet does not mean I cannot handle the car. I was planning on getting the car first save up for skip barber racing school and start my racing career. If I get into racing Im gonna plan on hooking up my Supra if I get one.

Why doesnt any1 think I could drive a stock 97' TT supra? Ill probably gt another car b4 that but I mean it doesnt go 0-60 in 1.37 seconds so Im not gonna kill myself.

I just liked the body kit mainly and the sound but I learned it wasnt the sound of the eclipse but I think an Integra. I dont want anything identical cars from the movie unless some1's gonna give it to me.

Guys stop attacking the poor guy :( Those cars in F&F weren't bad :/ It's just the lameness, actually it wasn't that bad of a movie... but like... little kids thaught it was ... well 'something' lol... My car's first upgrades would equal the interior's quality, handling power, and of course the raw power the engine produces, and how it's transfered to the ground. The last thing will be improving aerodynamics, and I believe I'll do that with the help of my paps :) Not getting cheesy bodykits that serve little purpose except scraping the road!

Notice the wooden spoiler, the heart sticker on the spoiler, the whatever the hell iron rods or whatever welded or drilled into the hood (notice also how its bending the trunk), the massive stickers, on the back window (how's he see? isn't that illegal :) ), stickers on trunk, near muffler, on the frickin door, on the side, near the handle, etc... The supercharger air intake thingamajig... the rally lights, missing body pieces (notice there is a cough missing door WTF lol, weight balancing? hahaha), hey you can see a water bottle, the watermelon muffler, the leather skirts hahahah, the small tires and repair emergency tire, I swear there are other things i forget. Oh and I've seen an even bigger muffler before it could fit a head an a half dont ask...

And I knew that eclipse was NOT a ten second car. Bunch of BS, it was a stock GS-T with an exhaust system and some shiny stuff under the hood. Now the Supra was definitely sweet, 563 HP, damn - thats all I got to say about that.

The eclipse in the movie had the 420A n/t engine, with the nitrous, but NO turbo. If you watch the scene when he pops the hood, you can see the n/t header.

There is no point in dupicating anything from that movie:bloated:

This has been beat to death by ricey DSMers....its an NT engine.

That pic must be a look a like, not the actual car. That site is the ''official specs of the FATF cars'' and it says ''16 valve turbo''.

for a documentary we were doing and it had a very similar look to it as the TF&TF one. Really for an Eclipse the look is not bad even if people think that look is played out. The filp side to that is they instantly think of it as a tuner car , if done well like this yellow one , you can still do well in the show scene, and obviously turn a bunch of heads on the street.

Supposedly the Eclipse in the movie is a GS-T , which we all know has a turbo. However , as I mentioned in the car description , how come the NOS system wasn't mentioned. And also that this thing has damm near the stock Hp. That alone earns it :loser: status in my book.

Observant about what? Didn't you see me name all the things that were different about the real FATF eclipse VS the one he posted? Yeah I saw that it had a header, and the intake is on the passenger side, so what. That web page still says it's a turbo so thats what I want to know why they say that when it isn't?
