you dont need the cam to do the mpfi swap, but yes the wiring harness will help alot, make sure you get the injector resistor box too, its on the shock tower.

i got it from the june 02 issue from scc, which is exactly with www.4thgenerationcivic.com has except it doesnt say that c2 goes to b12.
but when doing the swap, ive found that there were a few more mods needed than what said, well there were for me cause i didnt wanna hack up my stock harness. so if u dont wanna hack up your stock harness, you gotta
1. legthen the tps wires
2. legthen teh oil sensor back there, it has a cover on it, but theres 2 wires underneath it
3. then the exhaust mani o2 sensor is in the back of the engine, so u gotta run a wire from teh connector to the back of the engine.
4. then the green and yellow wire on the tranny connectors need to be lengtheh
5. the dx distributor plug doesnt match the si plug, so u either gotta get an si plug or just put a connector and just match up the wires without a plug.
thats all i can think of for now

You have to get a different distributor. the DX distributor desnt have a cylinder position censor OR a crank angle sensor if im not mistaken, since the DX injection just squirts gas into the common plenum and whatever valve is open gets gas whereas MPFI relies on crank position and cylinder positoin to determine which injector to fire and when...

yeah i know, im saying the the dx plug doesnt have the room for the 2 extra wires u gotta add, and the dx plug doesnt match up with the si dist. plug. so that why i was saying u either gotta get a si dist. plug or just match the wires up and put connectors on them.
i never mentioned the 2 extra wires cause thats already in the directions for the mpfi swap.
