Does anyone know of any place to get a rear drum to disc conversion for my 2000 sable?

Please remember that those two brake systems are completely different.
I personally have never seen a sable with rear disks without ABS. So in any event it would be a pain to include a wiring harness etc. You would also have to change your wheel bearings because although the spindle risers have the accommodations for the ABS sensor, the wires, sensor, and the disk for ABS is not. The rear is a whole new ball game.
But in reality (go a head and bash) If you critically compare the properly working and adjusted semi active rear drum brake system to a 4 disk system that is found in those years Sable and Taurus……… 95 % of the people would not have a clue until they activated the ABS system. 4% would say they like it, and .5% could stop faster 99% of the time with out the ABS. 4% are wondering who would be road track racing a Sable/Taurus. And the Other .1% are former car jackers doing three to 5, blaming the air bag deployment on the lack of rear disk brakes, completely ignoring the fact that Motorola Communications travels at the speed of light, Helicopters don’t dodge telephone poles, and road spikes makes it hard to stop anything very fast.
Rear disk is 99% hype reinforced by the idiot proof ABS system
